Why CLASSIC is CHF 4 cheaper: CLASSIC provides basic daily care—without the specialized ingredients found in the other three varieties. It’s not an inferior product; it’s just designed for a different purpose. If you have a specific concern, you’re better off with the appropriate specialized variety.

Why a Topping?

Being full doesn't mean being taken care of.

Loose stools, a dull coat, itching, grass-eating—these aren’t usually just whims, but signs that something is missing from their bowl. A good complete and balanced dog food is filling, but it doesn’t automatically meet all their nutritional needs. What your dog is lacking depends on what you notice.

Fish-free varieties often fall even further below the optimal range—this is where the topping closes the biggest gap.

The Proof

Here's what Sensitive really contains—backed by analysis, enough to bridge the gap:

7.6 g

Omega-3 per 100 g

Laboratory analysis, based on the finished product.

49.8 %

Percentage of crude fat

Nearly half of the crude fat consists of omega-3 fatty acids.

The Three Complexes

Three building blocks.
One alone is not enough.

01 · The Heart of It All

Flaxseed Complex

Flaxseed is processed in such a way that the dog can actually absorb the omega-3—otherwise, most of it passes through the body unused. Over 400 studies on the process, with NIR analysis of every batch.

02 · The Width

Herbal Complex

Over 20 plants—the whole plant, rather than isolated extracts. Bitter compounds, essential oils, and phytochemicals—blended, not mixed.

03 · The Connection

Synergy Complex

When combined, they’re more effective: better absorption, deeper and broader effects via the skin-gut axis
– for holistic well-being.

tradidog is a dietary supplement, not a medicine.

A True Story · The Shard of Glass

Five stitches, five days—and a valuable lesson.

One summer evening, Bailey was running along the shore of Lake Zurich, as usual. A leap into the shallow water, a brief yelp—and a thin trail of blood on the warm stones.

Good care doesn't promise a life without wounds. It's what makes a dog strong enough to heal well.

How do I use it?

Four steps
That's all it takes.

Sensitive is a topping, not a new food.
You give it in addition to your pet's regular meal.

Nature takes time. It’s worth sticking with it. Many effects only become apparent later in life. But they can be prevented and avoided even today.

Open the package Open the package

Step 1

Open the package

To keep the active ingredients fresh without the use of chemicals, the powder comes in two vacuum-sealed bags. You only open what you need—the rest stays sealed and has a long shelf life.

Measuring Measuring

Step 2

Measuring

The daily amount depends on your dog's weight—one measuring spoon is equal to one tablespoon. The calculator below will show you the exact amount.

Add it to the food Add it to the food

Step 3

Add it to the food

Just sprinkle it on your dog's usual meal and mix it with a splash of water—this makes the powder stick to the food and makes it smell much more enticing and appetizing to your dog.

Moisten Moisten

Step 4

Moisten

If you like, you can add a splash of water at the end. The powder soaks up the water briefly, mixes with the food, and smells even more enticing—just the way your dog likes it.

A supplement—it is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your dog has bloody stool, diarrhea lasting more than 48 hours, lethargy, or a fever, take him to the vet.

How do I use it?

Four steps
That's all it takes.

What real owners observe—and in what order—is like watching something grow.

Days 1–7

The body adjusts. The only questions here are: Does he eat it well? Does he tolerate it? Minor fluctuations are normal.

Weeks 2–4

The first changes become apparent, usually subtly. Often, you don't notice them in the dog, but in everyday life—something familiar is missing.

Weeks 4–8

Moments form a pattern. What used to fluctuate now remains steady—the point at which most people feel secure.

Starting in Week 8

The new condition is holding steady. The effects of metabolism—coat, skin, and energy for movement—are most clearly evident here.

How to Tell Which Variety It Is
CLASSIC

A shinier coat, a healthier digestive system, and more alertness in everyday life

SENSITIVE

Firmer, more regular stools, less bloating, and reduced itching.

SENIOR

Getting out of bed more easily, greater enjoyment of movement

BOOST

Recovers faster, regains strength or gains weight, has more stamina

What you should know: In the first few days, the stool may become slightly softer as the microbiome adjusts. This is normal and will resolve on its own.

Questions & Answers

The questions dog owners ask us most often.

About Our Toppings

At what age can I start giving my child this topping?

Starting at eight weeks, that is, after weaning from breast milk. The amount depends on the baby's weight.

If your dog is pregnant or nursing, please consult your veterinarian briefly beforehand.

What kind of food can I sprinkle this topping on?

Dry food, wet food, BARF—it works with all of them. If using dry food, add a little water or broth so the powder sticks.

Is the topping a complete food?

No. It's a supplemental food and doesn't replace the main meal.

Does it contain grains, sugar, or any artificial additives?

No. No grains, no sugar, no synthetic preservatives, and no artificial flavors. The current recipe also no longer contains wheat starch.

The complete list of ingredients is provided for each product.

Can I add multiple toppings at the same time?

Generally speaking, yes. The total amount is still based on your dog’s weight—you simply split it evenly between the two varieties. For example, a 10-kg dog would get 5 g of one variety and 5 g of the other, instead of 10 g of just one.

In most cases, however, the one variety that fits the current theme is sufficient. Switching varieties is no problem at any time.

Do I need to change my dog's main food?

No. The topping is meant to supplement your current food; it does not replace it.

What exactly is a topping?

A dietary supplement. It’s not a replacement for your dog’s main food, but rather a powder that you sprinkle on top. It provides nutrients that are often lacking in regular dry food—without requiring you to switch foods.

How do I keep the topping fresh?

Store in a dry, dark place and keep the package sealed. An unopened package will stay fresh for about eight to twelve weeks. An opened bag loses quality over time—if you feed your pet regularly, you’re better off using our storage container.

How do I measure out the correct dose?

The amount depends on body weight and variety. Each can includes a complete chart—listed individually for each kilogram, in grams, and in measuring spoons. You can find the same feeding guide as a PDF on the product page under the dosage calculator.

Daily examples: A 10-kg dog receives about 10 g of CLASSIC and about 15 g of SENSITIVE, SENIOR, or BOOST; a 30-kg dog receives about 23 g of CLASSIC and about 34 g of the other varieties.

Not sure? Tell us the weight and variety, and we'll calculate the serving size for you.

How long does one package last?

For a 20-kg dog, one package lasts about four to five weeks. For smaller dogs, it lasts correspondingly longer.
