The Connection · When the Two Work Together
Synergy Complex — when 1 + 1 is more than 2.
The Herbal Complex and the Flaxseed Complex are each, on their own, carefully formulated natural products. They only reveal their true power when used together—they complement, enhance, and support one another.
Nature never operates in isolated parts, but always in systems.
Three Dimensions of Interaction
Three effects that no single
can do on its own.
When herbs and flaxseed are combined, these three effects work in tandem to create a new profile of action.
1 + 1 =
better reception
- Pepper and Turmeric: 20-fold increase in curcumin absorption*
- Flaxseed oils as carriers for fat-soluble active ingredients
- Dietary fiber slows down the release
- Improved mucosal protection — nothing is lost
- Better distribution throughout the digestive tract
If active ingredients are not absorbed, they have no effect.
1 + 1 =
deeper impact
- Anti-inflammatory in two ways at once
- Omega-3 from flax and sterols/saponins from herbs
- Multiple signaling pathways are addressed in parallel
- Lasting Impact Instead of a Short-Term Effect
- A lower total dose is required
Multiple mechanisms, one common goal.
1 + 1 =
wider impact
- Skin, digestion, the immune system, and joints—all at the same time
- Gut-Brain Axis: The Gut Affects Mood
- Flax nourishes the microbiome; herbs regulate it
- Effective from puppyhood through senior years
- One Complex, Many Life Situations
Nature always operates within systems; it never acts in isolation.
Four Principles of Synergy
Why they bothneed each other
.
Four specific mechanisms explain why we deliberately coordinated the two systems.
Herbs need a support
Many plant compounds are fat-soluble. The fats in flaxseed are precisely the carrier that transports them to where they need to take effect—inside the cells.
Lein needs protection
Omega-3 is highly effective but sensitive. Antioxidants from the herbs protect the unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation—both in the supplement and in the dog.
Anti-inflammatory when used together
Herbs inhibit inflammatory enzymes, while flaxseed provides ALA as an anti-inflammatory building block for cell membranes. Two mechanisms, the same goal.
Working Together for Gut Health
Soluble flax fiber nourishes the microbiome, while the bitter compounds and essential oils in the herbs help regulate it. The gut flora serves as a common arena of action.

The Six Pillars of Synergy
Two springs, six meeting places.
At the cellular and systemic levels, both complexes work together along six key axes. Each one represents an area where 1 + 1 is greater than 2.
No single natural product can cover the whole picture on its own. It is only through their combined action that the effect is achieved where it is needed.

Specific pairs of effects
Where the two meet in the dog .
Six real-world examples—and exactly what they do biochemically.
Piperine increases curcumin absorption by a factor of 20.* The fatty flaxseed matrix further enhances absorption in the intestine—the curcumin reaches the site where it can exert its anti-inflammatory effects.
Antioxidants protect unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation. More of the active ingredient reaches the cells intact—less is lost due to oxidative degradation.
A self-reinforcing cycle. The herbs stimulate digestive enzymes and bile secretion, while the flaxseed fiber nourishes the gut flora at the same time—better digestion improves the absorption of all nutrients.
A multi-stage anti-inflammatory effect. Saponins and sterols inhibit inflammatory enzymes, while the ALA in flaxseed provides inflammation-regulating building blocks for cell membranes via EPA and DHA.
Protection and regeneration—both are necessary. Milk thistle and turmeric protect liver cells, while the amino acids in flaxseed are needed for the production of glutathione, the liver’s most important endogenous antioxidant.
A two-pronged approach to combating chronic stress. Lignans balance hormone levels and reduce excess cortisol, while adaptogenic herbs regulate the stress response—and the results are evident in your pet’s coat, sleep, and mood.
What Happens Inside a Dog
Three images thatbring itto life
.
Figure 01 · Inflammation
Steamed in two ways
Herbs block the enzymes that trigger inflammation. Flaxseed omega-3 incorporates inflammation-regulating building blocks into cell membranes. Two mechanisms, one effect—less pain, less swelling, greater mobility.
Figure 02 · Intestine
Nourished and Regulated
Fiber from flaxseed serves as food for beneficial gut bacteria. Herbs help keep fungi and harmful bacterial overgrowth in check. A healthy gut is the foundation for a strong immune system, a positive mood, and healthy skin.
Figure 03 · Stress
Hormonal Balance
Lignans lower cortisol, and adaptogenic herbs regulate the stress response. A calmer dog, a healthier coat, a more balanced mood—stress takes its toll on the entire body. The opposite is true as well.
Alone and Together
What everyone can do—and what only comes together when we work as a team.
A direct comparison of six areas of action. Both complexes are effective on their own, but their strength lies in their synergy.
| Scope of Application | Herbs Only | Only linen | Both together |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inflammation | Inhibits inflammatory enzymes | Provides anti-inflammatory fatty acids | Dual lever on two mechanisms |
| Digestion | Regulates and stimulates | Nourishes the microbiome | Regulates and nourishes — healthy gut flora |
| Skin & Coat | Soothes the skin | Strengthens the skin barrier | Soothes, protects, and makes the coat shine |
| Stress / Hormones | Adaptogenic herbs help regulate | Balancing Lignans | Cortisol levels stabilize |
| Absorption in Dogs | Limited without fat carriers | Provides support for others | Maximum Bioavailability |
| Duration of action | Quick, short-lived effect | Slowly and steadily | Immediate and Long-Term Effects |
That is why both complexes at tradidog are not a coincidence, but rather the result of a well-thought-out architectural design.
Our Promise
We don't believe in
single miracle cures.
Our goal is not to concentrate a single active ingredient to the point where it is sufficient on its own. Our goal is to combine several carefully selected natural products in such a way that, together, they achieve what each one alone could only achieve halfway.
Interaction
Herbs and flaxseed are paired together—not just placed side by side by chance.
Multidimensionality
Multiple lines of action at the same time, rather than a single, loud one.
Bioavailability
Things that belong together are better received when taken together.
Sustainability
A gentle, sustained effect rather than a short-lived one.
