    Linseeds are good for digestion because they contain a lot of fiber and mucilage, which stimulate the intestinal motor function, soften the stool and protect the intestinal mucosa. They are a natural source of essential omega-3 fatty acids. However, the latter can only be optimally utilized by the body if the fatty acids are extruded from the seeds.

    Our processing method is optimal because our body cannot digest the seed coat and therefore cannot access the nutrients that are hidden inside. Grinding the seeds is also only recommended to a limited extent, as although this breaks up the shells, anti-nutritive substances such as precursors of hydrocyanic acid are still present.
